Please read before submitting an application:
CFRI welcomes attendees from around the nation – and the globe – to our annual conference. We seek to reduce financial barriers so as to expand participation among our diverse CF community. As such, scholarships are offered to those who cannot attend this event due to financial hardship. In considering whether to apply for a scholarship, we kindly ask you to reflect on whether this applies to you, and if not, to please allow those who need the scholarship to receive this support.
As the cost of living varies widely throughout the United States, please complete the attached application which includes income information.
Priority will be given to applications received before the initial review of March 31, 2020. If there are still scholarships available after the first review, subsequent reviews are scheduled in late April and in May.
Please note: The scholarships do not cover travel costs!
There are two types of scholarships:
- For First-Time Attendees:
CFRI will cover 1-2 hotel room nights and conference registration fees (this includes all presentations, receptions, and Conference meals). There is limited availability and applicants must either be individuals with CF, or individuals/couples whose children have CF.
- For All Attendees – First-time or Returning:
CFRI has 10 scholarships available for full registration fees. Recipients are able to attend all presentations, receptions and Conference meals.
To help support CFRI, scholarship recipients may be asked to do the following:
1) Help promote CFRI’s education conference;
2) Volunteer at the conference if needed.
If you have any questions, please email Sabine Brants (sbrants@cfri.org).
